We are one of the most price-competitive services available globally. We do not charge recruiting fees or any hidden charges. You pay a monthly fee per developer. The average monthly fee for our senior software engineers (5-8 years) is under $4000

How long does the on-boarding process take?

The hiring and on-boarding process takes 5 - 14 days.

What are the payment methods you accept?

We accept all major debit/credit cards, paypal, and wire transfers.

Do I need to quit my current job to be on-boarded to Africave?

No, you do not need to quit your job to be listed on Africave. However, upon mutual decision to engage on an Africave project, you are required to quit all other commitments.

How do salary payments work?

Once staffed on a project, your salary is paid every two weeks.

Are salaries negotiable after I receive an offer?

We make very competitive offers commensurate with the scope of work and your experience level. Salaries are negotiated before you receive an offer.

Why do you record interviews?

Interview recordings may be provided to clients upon request. After your first engagement, your performance reviews are provided in addition to your recorded interviews, to reflect any growth since your interview.

Can companies’ setup interviews with me?

If required, we can help companies set up additional interviews with you.

Where will my office be located?

You will work from Africave’s working space closest to you.

Why do I need to come to an office if the jobs are remote?

All team members staffed on projects are required to come into office for co-located working for a given number of days every week.

When is my profile visible to companies for hiring?

Your profile is sent to companies when you are being considered for staffings.

How does billing work?

You pay a monthly fee per resource. You receive an invoice on the 1st of every month during the project duration which is due on the 15th of every month.

We provide remote-readiness training and continuous in-house mentoring for all our talent.

What happens if I am not satisfied by the quality of the talent provided to me?

We offer a 1-2 week zero-risk trial period. After the trial period, if you are not satisfied with the quality of work, you do not pay for that time.

What is the security deposit?

The security deposit is a fully refundable $500 fee (which is a prepayment to your first invoice) paid once we start the search for top talent for you. If you do not hire, this fee is refunded in full and is also refunded if you reject the trial period.

Do you sign master-services agreements?

We are very happy to comply with all your internal compliance requirements. If your company requires you to sign specific agreements, we will work with you to fulfill them accordingly.

Can I have candidates on your platform go through our Company’s own interview process?

Sure. While we rigorously assess our engineers, and the interview videos are available for your perusal, we are happy to set up additional interviews between your team and our talent.

Can I only hire software engineers through Africave?

We specialize in validating the skillset of software engineers. However, we are able to help you find and assess top quality digital talent (data scientists, graphic designers, financial analysts, etc). Send us a message via talent@africave.co and we will make requisite arrangements.

Do you sign Non-disclosure agreements?

Yes, we sign NDAs. Our engineers also sign NDA’s with us, too.

Who owns the legal rights to the work created by Africave engineers?

You own the legal rights to all the work create on your behalf by Africave engineers. When project engagements conclude, we hand over all confidential information to you and do not store any confidential information (see our Master Service Agreement for more information)
